JOLT has announced the debut of its latest 50kW DC electric vehicle (EV) charger, offering double the charging speed of its existing models and introducing a bold new direction in urban charging infrastructure and advertising.
Engineered for performance, accessibility, and integration into city environments, the sleek new charger aims to set a fresh benchmark for destination EV charging. The first unit has been installed in Melbourne’s Bayside City Council, with additional rollouts planned across Australia in the coming months.
As with existing JOLT chargers, users will continue to receive 7kWh of free charging per day via the JOLT app.
Beyond faster charging, the upgraded units feature high-luminance digital advertising screens with auto-adjusting brightness, vandal-proof glass, and graffiti-resistant surfaces. The design-forward approach aims to offer brands a more premium and effective platform to reach both EV drivers and high-traffic urban audiences.
Strategically positioned near transport hubs and retail zones, the new chargers are built to maximize visibility and enhance the public EV charging experience.
