WCA Launches Discount Program to Support School Woodworking Shops

LINCOLN, Neb. — The Woodwork Career Alliance of North America (WCA) has launched a new initiative aimed at helping member schools upgrade their woodworking shops with professional-grade tools. The program offers significant discounts on top-tier equipment to enhance student learning and better prepare the next generation of skilled woodworkers.

The program features discounts on products from several industry-leading sponsors, including:

Additional sponsors are expected to join the program, and the WCA plans to share an updated list of discounts with member schools in the first quarter of 2025.

Mark Smith, chairman of the WCA Education Committee, highlighted the program’s impact: “These product discounts will help school woodshops stretch their budgets while creating exceptional learning environments for students,” he said. “This initiative further demonstrates our commitment to supporting the future of woodworking across North America.”
