Morco Gas Water Heaters Recalled Due to Serious Fire Hazard

Suffolk Trading Standards has issued a recall for a range of gas water heaters after discovering they pose a significant fire risk.

The affected Morco open-flued gas water heaters, commonly used in mobile homes and caravans, are prone to gas leaks that could lead to burns, explosions, and serious injuries if ignited.

Owners of these heaters, including those who have previously received a safety upgrade, are urged to contact Morco immediately for further instructions. They should not attempt to inspect or test the appliance themselves.
