iRobot, a leading manufacturer of robot vacuums, is set to launch a new lineup of models, all priced under $1,000. This marks the company’s largest product launch ever, with eight new products aimed at offering solutions for every budget. The new models offer affordable alternatives to premium options like the Roomba Combo 10 Max or Roborock Saros 10R, both priced around $1,500.
The most advanced of the new models is the Roomba Plus 505 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock. Priced at $999, it features dual rotating mop pads that swing outward, offering 70 times more suction power than the older Roomba 600 series. It also boasts a LiDAR system for efficient navigation, whether day or night. This model is designed to be highly automated, with a dock that can auto-empty for up to 75 days and clean mop pads for up to four weeks. It also adjusts its settings based on the dirt level in your home, making it an easy, hands-off option.
For those looking for a more budget-friendly option, the Roomba Plus 405 Combo Robot + AutoWash Dock is available for $800. While it lacks some of the high-end features of the 505 model (like the swinging mop pads), it still offers powerful vacuuming and mopping capabilities, making it a great choice for those who want a reliable robot without breaking the bank.
This new range is set to make robot vacuums more accessible, providing solid performance at a lower price point than many competitors in the market.
