Kress Commercial gave the landscaping industry a glimpse into its future during the NEXT Summit held April 3 in Colorado Springs, where the company unveiled its latest innovation—the KR800 40-inch “Cut N Go” robotic mower.
More than three dozen landscaping executives attended the event and witnessed the autonomous mower in action for the first time. Designed to replace traditional zero-turn mowers (ZTRs), the emission-free Cut N Go offers a streamlined solution that integrates seamlessly into route-based landscaping operations.
The mower operates in the background, autonomously cutting lawns while crews focus on detailed and time-consuming tasks—boosting both efficiency and profitability. Once a lawn is mapped using a simple ride-on process, Cut N Go memorizes the property layout and navigates autonomously on future visits. The system is capable of storing unlimited property maps, making it ideal for recurring residential service routes.
“Our mission for Kress Commercial is to be much more than a products company,” said Don Gao, founder and CEO of parent company Positec. “We aim to be the premier technology provider in our industry. Cut N Go is our latest statement to landscapers—offering innovation that shifts the industry and opens new avenues for crew profitability.”
With a focus on autonomy, sustainability, and scalability, the Cut N Go marks a significant step forward in robotic landscaping solutions.
