Kress, a leading innovator in lawn care technology, has introduced its latest breakthrough, the Cut N Go autonomous mower, which was unveiled at the company’s NEXT Summit in Colorado Springs, Colorado earlier this month.
Designed with a 40-inch deck, the Cut N Go offers impressive features aimed at improving the efficiency of landscaping crews. The mower uses a memory-based navigation system—crews initially map out each customer’s lawn during a ride-on process, after which Cut N Go autonomously mows future lawns using this memory, storing infinite property maps.
Key features include:
Autonomous operation: Cut N Go can mow as many as five acres on a single charge and can autonomously load and unload from a trailer. It can also travel trailer-free within HOA-style neighborhoods, seamlessly moving between properties.
Long operational life: The mower boasts an impressive 5,000-hour operational life, making it a highly durable investment for commercial landscapers.
Advanced navigation: Boundary-wire-free navigation and 360-degree obstacle avoidance, similar to autonomous vehicles, ensure the mower avoids people, pets, trees, pools, gardens, toys, and lawn furniture, enabling it to mow with precision and safety.
Integration with Kress Fleet Management System: It fully integrates into the Kress Fleet Management System, allowing for centralized control and monitoring of operations.
Kress also invited media representatives and over three dozen landscaping companies to the NEXT Summit, where discussions centered around battery-powered products and the growing role of autonomous mowers in modern landscaping practices.
