Rotair has unveiled its latest innovation, the MDVN52 Eco5, a lightweight, high-performance compressor designed to meet the growing market demand for efficiency, versatility, and sustainability.
Powered by a 42kW Hatz Stage V diesel engine, the MDVN52 Eco5 delivers 5200 liters per minute (lpm) at 7bar and up to 3100 lpm at 14bar, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The compressor features a pneumatic control system that automatically adjusts the engine revs based on air delivery requirements, which Rotair claims significantly reduces fuel consumption while maintaining consistent performance.
The MDVN52 Eco5 is engineered to operate in extreme conditions, with a temperature range from -10°C to +55°C, and offers compressed air temperatures from ambient +8°C (with an optional aftercooler) to ambient +40°C as standard. This rugged design ensures reliability even in harsh environments.
Key features of the MDVN52 Eco5 include:
Electro-galvanized bodywork and advanced painting for long-term protection.
An oversized air filter for improved air intake filtration.
A combined radiator for enhanced cooling efficiency.
An intelligent start/stop system that prevents incorrect operation, ensuring safe and reliable usage.
In addition to its performance, the MDVN52 Eco5 is compact and lightweight, making it easy to tow under a standard B license. This feature is especially beneficial for rental companies and operators who require high utilization rates.
Optional features include:
A line lubricator that provides automatic lubrication for air-operated tools, reducing rust and extending tool lifespan.
A clogging sensor for the engine air filter, which helps maintain efficiency and ensures optimal air supply.
Giuseppe Donadio, managing director of Rotair, emphasized that the MDVN52 Eco5 reflects the company’s commitment to sustainability, operational efficiency, and ease of maintenance. He added, “The MDVN52 Eco5 exemplifies these values, offering a compact yet powerful solution that meets the needs of the rental market and modern construction sites.”
