Precision Turbo & Engine has launched the Next GEN Mustang Ecoboost turbocharger, a significant upgrade that delivers 90 additional horsepower and faster spool times compared to the current NX2 turbocharger. This enhanced turbocharger is designed to boost the performance of 4-cylinder Ecoboost engines, providing improved power and quicker throttle response.
The Next GEN turbocharger is engineered as a direct drop-in replacement, requiring no modifications for installation. It features a high-efficiency Next GEN CEA® compressor wheel, which not only increases horsepower but also delivers a faster response with reduced lag.
To ensure long-lasting performance, the turbocharger is equipped with dual ceramic ball bearings for added durability and quicker response. Its investment-cast HK30 stainless steel turbine housing is designed to withstand high temperatures, making it ideal for demanding driving conditions.
Additional features include a divided twin-scroll turbine housing that improves throttle response, and a ported shroud compressor housing that broadens the compressor map width.
