The new facility will be able to process batteries of all states of charge and health, sourced from local businesses and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) factories. It will also help manage growing battery waste in auto-wrecking yards across the state. By deploying modular units close to suppliers, the facility will reduce logistics challenges and build stronger partnerships with automotive OEMs and battery manufacturers, improving efficiency.
