A 16-year-old boy was critically injured after being stabbed multiple times on Sunday evening in Brooklyn. Police say the attack occurred around 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of Carrol Street and Rochester Avenue in Crown Heights. The victim was stabbed five times in the chest and abdomen, possibly with a screwdriver.
The teen was quickly transported to Kings County Hospital, where he is currently in critical but stable condition. Authorities found a screwdriver near the crime scene and are investigating whether it was used in the stabbing. The victim suffered five stab wounds.
