Pulse Energy has launched an innovative app-free solution for starting electric vehicle (EV) chargers, simplifying the charging process for users worldwide. The newly introduced ‘Paybox’ terminals are designed to help Charge Point Operators implement this technology at their stations, supporting 2W, 3W, and 4W vehicles.
Initially, the Paybox terminals will be deployed with operators in Bangalore and Mumbai, with plans for a nationwide rollout. To use the service, customers can simply walk up to the Paybox terminal, scan, swipe, or insert their card to approve the transaction. Once the payment is processed, users can proceed to the charger, plug in the cable, and begin charging.
Throughout the process, the terminal will keep users informed on the status of their charging via WhatsApp or the charging operator’s mobile app.
