Texas Eastern Pipeline Seeks Changes to Compressor Station Upgrade Plans

by Harry

The Texas Eastern Transmission Pipeline Company (TETCO), owned by Enbridge, has filed a request with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to revise its plans for upgrades at the Entriken Compressor Station in Todd Township, Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania.

A few years ago, TETCO proposed two major projects: the Appalachia to Market II Project (A2MII) and the Entriken HP Replacement Project. These projects are designed to work together, enabling the flow of 55,000 dekatherms per day (55 MMcf/d) of natural gas from the Marcellus/Utica region in southwest Pennsylvania to local distribution companies in New Jersey.
