Pure Lithium Corporation, a Boston-based company specializing in lithium metal battery technology, has announced a joint development agreement with Saint-Gobain Ceramics, a global leader in specialty ceramic materials.
This partnership aims to speed up the production of Pure Lithium’s patent-pending lithium-selective, water-blocking membranes. These membranes are essential for producing lithium metal anodes from brine.
In addition, Pure Lithium has developed a flexible lithium-conducting membrane designed for next-generation lithium metal battery applications. This membrane will act as both a solid electrolyte and separator in lithium metal batteries. Saint-Gobain Ceramics will help scale this technology for wider use.
