Husqvarna remains a leading name in garden care, particularly with its top-rated robot lawn mowers, which continue to set the industry standard. As wire-free technology becomes more widespread, competition is heating up, prompting Husqvarna to innovate and stay ahead of the curve.
The company has introduced an upgraded version of its popular Automower 435X AWD NERA, showcasing its ability to adapt to the evolving market. The new model features built-in support for virtual boundaries, which can be easily set up using the Automower Connect app. Additionally, it offers systematic mowing, allowing users to create custom virtual patterns and extend the mower’s coverage to a remarkable 5000m².
This launch follows Husqvarna’s announcement last October, in which it revealed plans to release three wireless models in March 2025 for commercial use. However, the company has now made these advanced features available to residential homeowners as well.
Key updates include ultrasonic technology, enabling the mower to detect and navigate around obstacles with precision, minimizing unnecessary stops and enhancing efficiency. The mower will also integrate Husqvarna’s EPOS satellite technology for boundary-free mowing, eliminating the need for physical boundary wires or an external reference station, and providing more flexibility for users to control mowing zones.
Jonas Elderstiern, Product Manager at Husqvarna, shared, “The Husqvarna Automower 435X AWD NERA is one of our most appreciated products, especially for demanding gardens. We’re excited to finally introduce a boundary wire-free version. Physical boundary wires can be challenging in gardens with steep slopes and uneven surfaces, and we know many garden owners have been waiting for this upgrade. The new level of freedom will not disappoint.”
