The Queensland Police Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a tragic incident involving a ride-on lawn mower in Dixalea, south of Rockhampton, which resulted in the death of a 59-year-old man.
Police report that the man was mowing the area between a property’s fence line on Lanigans Lane and the Burnett Highway at approximately 8:15 a.m. when the mower rolled over.

The man, a resident of Dixalea, was pronounced dead at the scene. Queensland Police stated that while the incident is considered non-suspicious, investigations are still ongoing.
