Legacy Architectural Salvage is offering a free two-part, hands-on power tool workshop, designed for those looking to learn more about using essential tools safely and effectively.
The first session, Feel the Power, will take place on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The second session, More Power, will be held on Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
CFCC Instructor Max Sigler will lead the workshop, introducing participants to a variety of power tools, explaining their functions, and demonstrating safe operating practices. In part two, participants will get more hands-on experience by working on a project.
Participants are asked to dress appropriately for using power tools—no baggy clothes, no open-toed shoes, and long hair should be tied back. Gloves and safety goggles will be provided.
