Acebeam has launched the X20, a robust flashlight that stands out with its unique design and advanced features. Weighing 10.6 ounces and measuring 5.5 inches in length, the X20 houses two 18650 batteries placed side by side. While the head of the flashlight remains round, the handle has been flattened for a more ergonomic grip.
The batteries in the X20 are replaceable but can also be charged directly via USB-C without needing to be removed from the flashlight. One standout feature of the X20 is its sliding switch, which locks the flashlight to prevent accidental activation. This same switch also allows users to toggle between tactical and duty modes.
In tactical mode, the flashlight offers quick access to brighter settings, including a strobe function, while duty mode provides a broader range of options but requires cycling through them. The X20 is built to last, earning an IP68 certification for water resistance, meaning it can be submerged in 6.6 feet of water for up to 30 minutes.
Equipped with 8 LEDs, the X20 comes in two different variants. One version focuses on high candela with a throw of 705 yards, while the other prioritizes lumens but has a shorter throw of 481 yards. In both versions, the brightest modes can only be used for up to 50 seconds, and the flashlight emits cool white light at 6,500K.
The Acebeam X20 is priced at $149, offering high-performance lighting and versatility for users who need a reliable, durable flashlight.
