MSI, a global leader in high-performance computing and AI solutions, has officially entered the Australian electric vehicle (EV) market with new charging products. The company is introducing two innovative solutions: the MSI EZgo Portable Charger and the MSI EV Series, both designed to meet the unique needs of Australia’s EV landscape.
The products will be showcased at Everything Electric Australia NSW from March 7 to 9, in response to the rising demand for accessible EV charging infrastructure across the country.
“Australia’s 2050 net-zero target and free-trade policies create a strong environment for innovation and competition,” said Jerry Lu, General Manager of MSI Australia. “By aligning our technology with government programs like the $500 million Driving the Nation Program, we aim to support Australian drivers in transitioning to electric vehicles, whether in urban or remote areas.”
The MSI EZgo Portable Charger, which was first unveiled at CES in January, is a compact, easy-to-use solution designed to ease range anxiety for EV owners. The charger comes with an intuitive phone app that allows for load management, flexible scheduling, and remote monitoring. MSI has also partnered with local smart socket provider NOX Energy to integrate its Intelligent Power Socket (IPS) with the charger, adding convenience for Australian EV owners.
