Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its Mijia Smart Crystal Dual Tank Electric Water Heater 60L P10 in China, promising enhanced performance and protection. The new product features “crystal clear” tanks that reduce mineral build-ups, thanks to an innovative tank lining material. The company also claims the device offers a 99.5% scale prevention rate, safeguarding both the inner tank and pipes.
With a 60L capacity, the Mijia Electric Water Heater P10 can deliver 840L of hot water continuously in just 168 minutes. It is equipped with a 3,300W heating element that heats water quickly, with a temperature range of 30 to 80°C (~86 to 176°F). The P10 can also provide hot water on demand, thanks to its ability to monitor household usage. This allows the heater to predict when and how much hot water is needed, with automatic pre-heating as required.
For added convenience, users can remotely control the water heater via the Mi Home app, allowing them to reserve hot water, track usage, and even trigger sterilization. Xiaomi claims the P10 offers a 99.99% sterilization rate. Additionally, with the HyperOS, the P10 can be connected to other smart home devices.
The slim dual-tank model measures 607 x 357 x 780 mm (~23.9 x 14.1 x 30.7 inches) and is designed for bathroom use with an IPX4 water resistance rating. Xiaomi is offering a five-year warranty for the product, which also holds a Level 1 Energy Efficiency certification in China.
