Enphase Energy has begun shipping its latest electric vehicle (EV) charger, the IQ EV Charger 2, to 14 European markets. This smart charger is designed to integrate smoothly with Enphase’s solar and battery systems, offering energy management features that help homeowners maximize solar self-consumption and reduce energy costs.
Wesley van den Enk, director at Hydro Solar B.V., a Netherlands-based installer of Enphase products, emphasized the growing demand for efficient home charging solutions. He stated, “As EV adoption continues to rise, consumers are looking for intelligent ways to charge at home without increasing energy costs. The IQ EV Charger optimizes cost savings across all tariffs and works seamlessly with Enphase home energy systems, allowing homeowners to charge their EVs using solar power and minimize their carbon footprint.”
