Developers have received the go-ahead to install two electric vehicle (EV) chargers at a McDonald’s restaurant in Hedge End.
The planning application, submitted by Instavolt, was approved by Eastleigh Borough Council. The chargers will be installed in the McDonald’s car park on Tollbar Way.

Each charger will be equipped with two connecting points, and the rapid chargers will operate at a power of 160kW.
